If beauty is truth, does that mean that a beautiful lie becomes the truth? Or is it inherently ugly, no matter how full of beauty it is as well, simply because it is a lie? And if truth is beauty, does that mean that an ugly truth is really a lie? Or is it inherently beautiful, now matter how ugly it is, merely because it is the truth? If a lie is beautifully and kindly told, does it matter that it is not the truth? Should it not have at least the same regard as a truth told from malice? Should it not, being beautiful, and being told with sweet intention, be allowed to become what truly is? Is it not more beautiful than a cold truth that is meant to hurt? Is it not then more truthful? What is truth? What is beauty?
